Access data / server log files

The provider (or a webspace provider) collects data about the access of the website (so-called server log files). The access data include:

Name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of retrieval, message of successful retrieval, browser type and version, referring URL (the site visited previously) and IP address.
The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the website. The provider, however, reserves the right, to subsequently check the log data, if due to concrete grounds, the legitimate suspicion of unlawful use is the case.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information with which a person can be identified, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes, names, e-mail addresses or phone numbers. But also information about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites a person has viewed is considered personal data.

Personal data will only be collected, processed or passed on by the provider, if this is legally permitted or if the user consents to the data collection.

Contact

In case the provider is contacted (for example via a contact form or by e-mail) the user's information is stored for the purpose of processing the query as well as for the case that follow-up queries might occur.

Comments and contributions

When users comment in a blog or contribute otherwise, their IP addresses are stored. This is for the security of the provider, for the case that a person describes illegal contents in comments or contributions (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.) In this case the provider can be held responsible for the comment or contribution, and therefore has an interest in the identity of the author.

Newsletter

In our newsletter, we provide information about us and our offers.

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address and/or that the owner of the e-mail address consents to receiving the newsletter. No further data is collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and is not disclosed to third parties.

When you register for the newsletter, we store your IP address, first name or last name, e-mail address and the date of registration. Storing this information solely serves as proof, in case a third party abuses an e-mail address and registers without knowledge of the authorized person to receive the newsletter.

You can revoke your consent for storing the data, the e-mail address as well as the use of the data for sending the newsletter at any time. You can revoke your consent via a link in the newsletters, or by contacting us at the aforementioned points of contact.

Integration of services and contents of third-parties

It is possible that within this online offer, contents of third-parties, as for example videos from YouTube, Vimeo, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated here. This always assumes that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") become aware of the user's IP address. Because without the IP address they could not transmit the contents to the browsers of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of these contents. We endeavor to only make use of such content, for which the relevant provider only uses the IP address for the delivery of the contents. However, we have no influence if the third-party provider stores the IP address for e.g. statistical purposes. If we are aware of this, we will inform users.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). The information generated by the cookie about a user's use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

In case of activation of IP anonymization on this website, the user's IP address will be truncated by Google within the area of Member States of the European Union or other contractual parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymization is enabled on this website. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating the user's use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them with other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

The IP-address, that your browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings of their browser, however this website points out that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore, users can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (including your IP address) from their use of the website, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Use of Facebook social plugins

This website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network facebook.com which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The plugins are identified by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on blue tile or a "Like", "I like" or "thumbs up" symbol) or are marked with the addition "Facebook social plugin". The list and the look of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.

If a user calls up one of our internet website pages which has a plugin of this kind, their browser sets up a direct link to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is passed by Facebook direct to your browser and integrated by it into the website. This means that the provider has no influence on the extent of the data which Facebook obtains with the help of this plugin and therefore informs user according to its knowledge.

Through the integration of the plugin, Facebook obtains the information that a user has retrieved the relevant page on the providers website. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can allocate the visit to their Facebook account. If a user interacts with the plugin, by using the "Like-it-Button", for example, or by posting a commentary, the information will be given directly to Facebook by their browser and stored there. If a user is not a Facebook member, Facebook is still able to find and store the IP address. According to Facebook, only anonymized IP addresses are stored in Germany.

For information on the purpose and extent of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well your rights in this regard and turn-off options for the protection of your personal privacy, please refer to the Facebook data protection informationhttps://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them via this website and to link this with their data stored on Facebook, they need to log off from Facebook before going to this website. Additional settings and objections for the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
